Listen to these ground rules when viewing the site, okay? Please RESPECT our artwork and other creative works. Do it, and you will not get hurt by bad karma, impending doom, and Hiryuu (who WILL stab you when you least suspect - - ).

ALL IMAGES IN THIS SITE ARE COPYRIGHTED TO EITHER PRAX, MERIT, OR EMMA.
The only exceptions to this fact are things like the forum (which we did not program), the oekaki board (where the artwork is copyrighted to whoever made it), the caught bishounen (because they are made by someone else), some of the wallpapers (where some are made of anime collages), banners for webrings and sites OTHER than Jadesche, and of course, the guestbook images. Most likely, ALL WRITING is copyrighted to the Jadesche crew too, so there. :)

DO YOU WANT TO BORROW AN IMAGE FOR YOUR SITE?
If so, please email us for consultation and point out what image you may want to use. We're not mean, fire-breathing people (but we CAN BE!), so most likely, we'll say 'yes', of course, on the basis that all due credit is given to us, our link is given out somewhere, and that the image remains unaltered (it can be resized though). Please consult us if you wish to alter the image or make it part of a flash intro or some other crazy thing. NEVER under any circumstances (unless when permission is granted) REMOVE the LOGO from the image. It's there for a reason, and if a bloody pulp is what you want to be, then I guess you know what to do.. - - .

DO YOU WANT TO USE AN IMAGE FOR YOUR PERSONAL USE?
Of course, the answer will be 'yes', AS LONG AS it is not used for any advertising venues where money will be gained from it. You can alter it, whatever you wish, as long as it stays on your desktop screen or walks around with you like a poster or in a binder. Should it be used for some weird non-profit advertisement or something of the like, please consult us and tell us what--also, we would like credit for it (yes.. we're VERY paranoid of web-thieves.. grrr..). Do NOT use it for your SCHOOL ARTWORK ASSIGNMENTS if you yourself are meant to draw something! (Cheating is bad.. )

DO YOU WANT TO USE SOME OF OUR IDEAS OR PARTS OF OUR LITERATURE?
Please ask us. We want to know exactly what for. We understand if you just want to message it to your friend saying how cool/moronic it is, but otherwise, if it is to be seen by the public on the internet, in a book, or anything else, we want our piece of the pie, comprendé? Many of our ideas may seem similar to yours, but do not think we ripped it from you--we gain most of it out of a mash of myth and past culture--that's legal (as far as I'm concerned).

YOU WANT TO WHAT WITH OUR IMAGES?!
Let's get this straight, if you want to ERASE the clothes off of an image and put in obscene things to jack off, GET LOST AND DO IT TO SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T MIND! Obviously we can't stop you from jacking off while looking at anything, but actually altering our work and desecrating our characters/images/stories for your own sexual gratification is.. STUPID. We do not want it. None of it. There are a BAJILLION hentai sites out there, go get some. It's not here--only except in a few select places.

DO YOU WANT TO USE SOME OF OUR CHARACTERS FOR A CAMEO IN ONE OF YOUR WORKS?
Uhh.. - - depends on WHAT. Many times, as long as credit is given, we will say 'yes'--unless it's some sorta porno thing or in a situation where the character would be totally out of character. For example, Hiryuu, if you wanted to make a comic about you beating Hiryuu up, it HAS to be believable that he can even lose to you, othewise, NO. We don't want his 'essence' to be disrupted. However, a comic about you fantasizing/dreaming abotu beating Hiryuu up will be okay (I hope that makes sense to you). Again, things like 'Lei falls in love with me and dumps Hiryuu' will be screamed at and mocked until there is no end! DON'T DO IT! DON'T MAKE US MAD AT YOU!
